The college has a very active NSS unit which conducts several programmes that are service-orientated. NSS volunteers are expected to undertake a project of their choice from the prescribed and sanctioned list of projects and put in atleast 120 hours of community service to obtain a Merit Certificate. Volunteering 240 hours of work and participation in a special camp, entitles the students to a Merit Certificate from the University and the college, which enables her to get preference in admission to courses in higher education. The NSS unit of our college enthusiastically organises various activities like Adult Literacy Programmes, Blood Donation Camps, Medical Camps, etc. |
